The spoken word was written with the song Reckless Love by Cory Asbury in mind, with the intent of having the spoken word woven into one of our worship sets with this song.
Rebecca and David on our worship team helped me workshop it and find the best placement and arrangement for it to be added into the set. Many thanks to them for that, and for their vocals and the keys.
Chris and Adeline rounded out our team for that service.
There are three files below. The first file is the entirety of spoken word (part 1), song, and spoken word (part 2), followed by more of the song and a closing prayer. It’s all recorded from my phone and perspective. This is the only recording I’m aware of, so please excuse/ ignore my singing. I kept away from the mic during those parts!
The second and third files are just the spoken word pieces (parts 1 and 2) from that same set. The text for these correspond to the previous post’s parts 1 and 2.
Pastor Kovax really led us in an amazing Holy Spirit time during service, and I know that myself and the rest of the worship team were truly honored and blessed to be a part of that time.
